About Er. Raju Ansari
Er. Raju Ansari is USEC’s chief geotechnical specialist, responsible for subsoil exploratory drilling, borehole Standard Penetration Testing (SPT), and laboratory soil mechanics characterization across Sunsari, Morang, and Jhapa districts.
With deep practical knowledge of eastern Nepal's alluvial floodplains, he specializes in identifying liquefaction-susceptible sand strata, differential settlement risks in saturated clay layers, and designing optimal mat, strap, and deep friction pile foundations complying with NBC 105:2025.
Geotechnical Capabilities
SPT & Core Boring
Conducts standard penetration test drilling up to 30m depth to determine accurate soil bearing capacity profiles.
Laboratory Soil Testing
Direct shear tests, Atterberg limits, consolidation testing, and sieve gradations according to IS codes.
Liquefaction Hazard Assessment
Assesses cyclic stress ratios and liquefaction vulnerability for heavy commercial buildings in Terai river basins.
Slope Stability Analysis
Evaluates hillside retaining structures and cut-slopes in Dharan, Bhedetar, and Ilam hill roads.
